It took a lot more than meets the eye to come up w/ most of the lyrics in my music. Seven Years ago, My brother Demetrio showed me how to pluck my first Note on a guitar. I used to sit with him in the room that we shared and listen to him teach him self how to play the guitar. He wasnt really the expert or anything, but you can tell by the way that he played that he really loved doing it. for about a week it was just in the back of my mind that I wanted to learn how to play also. Until he learned a Song by White Stripes Called "Seven Nation Army". listening to that song, I could be the rockstar of my dreams playing the air guitar to the solo of that song!
So the next week or so, Demetrio began to learn how to play "Seven Nation Army" and I was soo into that song at the time the very nex morning i went out to the library which was about several minutes from my house, to print of the guitar tabs for that song. then i came home right away and in about thirty minutes i learned how to play the guitar, and play "Seven Nation Army By: White Stripes"
after sucessfully learning my first song on the guitar, knowing how to play the guitar part of that song wasnt enough, i wanted to sing, play, drum, I literally wanted to be my own band!
I began learning some Green Day Songs, from the American Idiot album, Jesus of Suburbia, all six or seven sections, I learned some small parts from boulevard of broken dreams, then i spent the most time learning how to play and sing "Give me Novacaine"
Once i began to get into the music as hard as i did, I knew i wanted to stop playing other artists music, and begin writing my own. so for the rest of my time owning my guitar, I would spend my time, making my own music that you can hear today.
